December 18, 2011 - mid-January 2012, I'll be in Gulf Shores, Alabama
 
Wed. Jan. 4: I'm presenting to eigth grade gifted classes at Fairhope Middle School.
 
Thurs. Jan. 5: I'm presenting to classes at Gulf Shores Middle School.
 
Tues. Jan 10: I'm presenting to classes at Orange Beach Elementary school.
 
2012
 
February 23-24: Conference of the North Carolina Council for the Social Studies: I'll be presenting on using activities inspired by historical fiction to teach social and cultural history.
 
March 4-6: North Carolina Middle School Association Conference: I'll be presenting on using historical fiction to teach social and cultural history.
 
March 15-16, 2012, I'll be presenting at the North Carolina Association for the Gifted and Talented Conference in Winston-Salem, NC. One program is a panel on using historical fiction to address the new common core standard. I'll be moderating a panel with Gloria Houston, Julia Ebel and Sandra Horton. I'll also be assisting Sandra with presentations on Future Problem-Solving International.
