February 2010:IPG at the South Carolina Book Festival

Faster Pastor, the comic Southern novel by New York Times bestselling author Sharyn McCrumb and NASCAR/ARCA driver Adam Edwards will be the featured presentation from IPG Books at the South Carolina Book Festival, in Columbia, SC, February 26-28, 2010.

The IPG Booth will be home base for IPG authors McCrumb and Edwards, for Appalachian Adventures author Maggie Bishop, and for Judith Geary, editor and author of the SREB endorsed novel and related curriculum of the Getorix series.

Visit booth #105 for signed books from the featured authors and other great books.

Educators may claim a FREE BOOK from the YA featured collection of books with free downloadable teachers’ guides.

June 2009: HCW Book of the Year Awards
 
High Country Writers, a professional organization supporting writers in the western North Carolina High Country since 1995, announced its annual Book of the Year Awards at a meeting on June 11, 2009.
     Among the winners were three authors whose books are published by IPG:  Maggie Bishop's Perfect for Framing won for Mystery of the Year; Lila Hopkins' The Master Craftsman won for Family Story of the Year; and Julia Taylor Ebel's Dresses, Dreams and Beadwood Leaves won for Poetry Book of the Year.
     Other winners were: June Bare's All Things for Inspirational Book of the Year and Marcia Cham's You Mean I Have to Look at the Body for Memoir Book of the Year.
 
November 2009: American Association of School Librarians recognizes IPG Authors
 
The 2009 Conference of the American Association of School Librarians will be held in Charlotte, NC in November. IPG authors Albert A Bell, Jr. Judith Geary and Julia Taylor Ebel have been invited for booksignings. Geary will also be presenting in the conference Exploritorium.
